After the birufication of AP as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and the announcement of the new capital for Andhra Pradesh as Amaravathi the YSR congress has decided to conduct a a one-day state-level extended meeting in Tuesday,June 14th.YSR leaders looked over the arrangements made for the meeting on Sunday.The event is expected to heat up the political atmosphere in the district, as the YSRC may shift its political base to the city after the meeting.
It is reported that nearly 1,900 representatives would attend the meeting along with party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, MLAs, MPs and senior leaders.The meeting will mainly focus on Amaravati capital location developments, land allotments, Kapu-BC reservation issue, ongoing political developments and strengthening the party.
The party has decided to conduct the meet to show TD party that even after the shift of the some of the YSRC MLA’s into the TD it is not dismayed.The party hopes the meeting will boost confidence among the cadre. Neverthless, there is no co-ordination between the YSRC candidates and this issue will be raised during the meet to build the party structure.
