Andhra Pradesh Government is ready to start an another project in Rajamundry district that solar power project. This will having a new canal top Solar power are placed The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited have seen the flexibility on the Top of canal how it is been placed. This will be Gollavanitippa village of Bhimavaram rural mandal in West Godavari and the information already said to Union Government.
This will cost around Rs.8 crs and this mat be helpfull for more than 25000 people around 10 villages in Bhimavaram rural mandal will get uninterrupted power supply. The power generated from the upcoming project will be sent to state power grid through a 33/11 kv power substation at Gollavanitippa.
Now the works are expected to start from two months later, NEDCap earlier started similar project on the same canal at about 1.2 km stretch to generate 1 mw power per day. This is been done by BHEL at 7.23 crores and AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu will launch this in July 2nd week
