Small time politicos threatening rivals is normal. But, should one expect a person of the stature of Deputy Chief Minister to do the same thing? If this happens, it only goes to show that such politicos are intellectual dwarfs.
Recently Home Minister and deputy chief minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa visited Rayabhupalapatnam village of Samalkot mandal. The locals, mostly from the slum colonies, poured out their tales of woes. They complained that they did not have street lights and that water supply was erratic. Then, one of the local TDP leader told the deputy CM that they were all YSRCP voters.
This was enough for Chinarajappa to fly into a rage.He shouted at her and said he would ensure that the rations and pensions would be stopped for such people. “You can’t get benefits If you don’t vote for us,” he thundered. He was livid and was uncontrollable. He even used several colloquial words. The video has now gone viral. Brazen as ever, the TDP leaders are not even bothering to explain their conduct.
